“None of us got to where we are alone. Whether the assistance we received was obvious or subtle, acknowledging someone’s help is a big part of understanding the importance of saying thank you.” — Harvey Mackay
Thank you for your overwhelming loving response to my request for help with the logo design for my new venture Inner Dimensions Publishing.
Your support contributes to the first of my eBook publishing endeavors. Your comments were so helpful in describing what the images meant to you.
The majority of your recommendations affirmed and validated what I had come to feel best reflected my passion.
The process of creating an eBook has been a great learning opportunity for me. As you might imagine there have been many starts and stalls on this journey. The support I’ve received from you and others has been invaluable.
Symbolic Meaning of These Spiral Images
If you want to jump ahead to see which logo image was chosen, it is posted in the center of this post. Otherwise, read on.
What I found to be interesting about the particular spiral images that I had narrowed down for your requested input is, first of all, they are sacred and primarily represent growth, continual change, and human spirituality. They remind us of our evolving journey inwardly and in life.
And listen to this, according to the symbolic meaning, they also represent a journey we
must take if we are to truly know and love ourselves. From that journey, we return with more power and wisdom. These spiral images also are linked to goddess, womb, and fertility. Hmmm! Is this transformation or what!
Wow! So you can see whichever spiral image you recommended, you were in alignment with the spiritual purpose of inner change, growth, and transformation.
By the way, the image that received the most recommendations for my logo is the first one Carol Hansen Grey, coach/publisher and graphic designer, submitted as a sacred symbol for me to consider.
However, as you know it’s the letting-go process that can be the challenge. My desire to include a butterfly within the spiral in order to represent transformation was indisputable. Can you relate to the notion that sometimes wanting what we want can blind us to what we have?
Letting Go and Letting God
After examining images with butterflies of all sizes and colors, I finally came to the realization (duh) that the spiral symbol encapsulated the heart and thrust of transformation that I was looking for.
My awareness of the profound meaning of this simple, sacred, spiral symbol allowed me to release my desire for a butterfly representation. It is now in and as my consciousness. I affirm that the energetic meaning guides and inspires me in the direction of right action, and of expression and creativity.
Thank You Again For Your Valued Input
At the same time, I submitted the butterfly image as part of the choices, in order to remain open to the valuable perspective of others. Thank you again for your obvious help and for the behind the scene subtle support. I feel more empowered as I move forward in this great unfolding adventure of life.
This New Testament scripture encourages us to, “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances…” 1 Thessalonians 5: 16 – 18
